Pets Policy

Congress Hotel “Russia” Pet Policy

General Terms:

  1. The Hotel allows accommodation with a dog or cat weighing up to 10 kg.
  2. The service fee is 500 RUB per stay.
  3. Guests with pets are accommodated strictly in designated rooms, as assigned by the Hotel administration.

Pet Owner’s Obligations to the Hotel:

  1. The Guest is required to have a valid veterinary passport for the pet with up-to-date vaccination records, including the rabies vaccine.
  2. The pet must be kept in a special carrier (cage) and use its own bedding/mat for sleeping. It is prohibited to wash the pet in the room’s shower or bathtub, or to use towels, linens, or other hotel bedding for the animal. It is forbidden to groom, trim (shave, pluck), or clip the pet’s nails inside the hotel room.
  3. The Guest must bring their own pet food and water bowls.
  4. For pets that do not require walking, the Guest must provide their own litter box or other appropriate pads, and is responsible for cleaning up after their pet.
  5. Dogs must be walked only with a muzzle, collar, and leash. Pets are not permitted in the hotel’s food and beverage outlets or public areas.
  6. To allow for daily housekeeping and/or minor repairs, the Guest must ensure the pet is not in the room during the service and must hang the corresponding information sign on the door. If the sign is not displayed, these services will not be performed.
  7. When leaving the pet unattended in the room, the Guest must place it in a special carrier (cage) and notify the Hotel staff.

Guest Liability:

  1. The pet owner assumes full responsibility for the proper care and control of the animal throughout their stay at the Hotel.
  2. The pet owner shall bear all costs associated with cleaning carpets, textiles, and furniture from pet hair, as well as any damage to or destruction of Hotel property by the pet. In the event of damage caused by the pet, the Guest is obliged to fully compensate the Hotel for the losses by paying an additional amount required to cover the damages.
  3. Upon check-out, the Guest must vacate the room and report to the maid or porter. If any damage has been caused to the Hotel room, the Hotel Manager or the Front Office will prepare a Property Damage Report specifying the cost of the damaged items.
